Hi there. I’m Liz and I’m the resident Osteopath-yogi at Pivot Osteopathy.

I have over 17 years of experience in treating a wide variety of people and conditions, including women’s pelvic issues, newborns, pregnant women, elite athletes and the elderly and I am still passionate about osteopathy! In recent years I have devoted my studies toward women’s health and pelvic floor issues. I have an in-depth knowledge of yoga, breathing and meditation that I can share with you.

I relocated to Brisbane in early 2020 with my husband and 4 year old daughter and have loved the lifestyle change this move has brought.

I have particular interests in:

  • Women’s health, particularly in pelvic pain and supporting women through their journey of pregnancy and beyond,

  • Chronic pelvic pain

  • The treatment of babies and children

  • Assisting people in trauma recovery

What you can expect from a consultation with me:

As an Osteopath I will endeavor to identify the cause of your pain and formulate a treatment plan specific to your needs, to not only help with your presenting complaint but also help restore overall health and wellbeing. Through body awareness, mindfulness and breath work I will aim to empower you to achieve your health goals.

Qualifications and additional learning:

I pursue excellence in my work and I love to learn.

I have completed a post graduate certificate in neonatal and paediatric manual therapy, which provided me with the skills to diagnose infant musculoskeletal disorders, assess spinal and primitive reflexes, and monitor developmental milestones.

I have also completed extensive studies in the areas of; women’s health, including both internal and external pelvic floor diagnosis and treatment to help with all aspects of pelvic floor dysfunction, osteopathy in the cranial field and visceral osteopathy.

I am a qualified yoga and prenatal yoga teacher and mindfulness teacher. I love sharing yoga, breath awareness and mindfulness with my patients to assist in the healing process.
